It runs on the mobile network, so it needs no external radios or radio frequency licences.

The in-car system is fully automatic and is activated by the driver's voice (VOX), so there is no distraction from pressing talk buttons. The unit weighs only 150 g: it is compact enough to be mounted directly on the helmet or anywhere in the cockpit, and it connects directly to the communication socket of Stilo helmets. The microphones have noise cancelling, and the pit lane crew headsets have a PTT (Push-to-Talk) button, so the driver only hears the team when the crew presses the button to speak to him.

During the race, the two systems are linked by an ordinary phone call, with each user connected by Bluetooth to the pit lane headset and to the communication module in the driver's helmet respectively. A light on the unit shows the connection. Unlike radio systems, Verbacom provides coverage across the entire race circuit and needs no expensive signal boosters or tall radio masts. The system is fully automatic: if the call drops, it reconnects automatically with no action needed from the driver or mechanics.

This kit includes

2 pit lane headsets with PTT button and noise-cancelling microphone.

1 driver connection module with voice activation, noise cancelling and cables.

USB charging cable(s).
