The Sparco Ice vest has 8 low-profile cooling inserts that fit into waterproof zipped pockets in the vest lining. The inserts are charged by soaking them in water and placing them in a freezer for at least an hour (preferably overnight if time allows). Once charged, they can cool the body for several hours, depending on the ambient temperature. The vest comes with 2 full sets of cooling inserts (16), and additional inserts can be purchased separately if longer body cooling is needed.
