A race-weekend equipment checklist for your team
Build a practical motorsport equipment list around your drivers, crew, car and event deadline.
Start with the event, not the shopping cart
Record the event name, destination, arrival date and the date your equipment must be ready. Separate that date from race day: delivery, inspection and any fitting need their own time. Check the organiser’s current requirements before choosing equipment.
Give every requirement an owner
Group your list into driver equipment, crew supplies, car-specific parts and shared garage equipment. Record the person or car each item is for. Two drivers may need the same product in different sizes; keep those as separate lines rather than a single combined quantity.
Record what the supplier needs to confirm
For each line, include the brand, exact part number when known, size, colour, quantity and required date. Mark unknown specifications as questions. For vehicle-specific items, include the model, year and relevant existing components. A broad make match is not a fitment confirmation.
Separate available items from sourcing requests
Before accepting a quotation, ask which lines are available, which require ordering and whether partial delivery is possible. Keep any proposed alternatives attached to the original requirement so a substitute cannot be mistaken for the requested item.
Review before dispatch
Use a final checklist for the approved part numbers, sizes, quantities, delivery address and contact. Have the responsible team member review safety-related items against supplier documentation and event requirements. Save the list so the next event starts from known requirements.
